1.
Our Bones Were Chalk (free) 02:50
our bones were chalk twisting over the board, gentle and fragile, gentle and fragile your hands touched my plastic legs and still they felt cold, and still they felt cold my eyes were nothing when they closed... i asked you to be careful you pulled what you wanted away you pushed when you wanted to stay away.
2.
tied to the car i waited for a knife to cut loose. when i tried to tell you to keep close my voice cracked. you feed me drugs (type type type) ONE TWO THREE FOUR:
3.
They Ate Themselves (free) 03:08
they ate themselves, sliding at the bottom silver and smooth wrapping around my toes i was properly dressed and prepared for what you had to say and what did you know anyways? and why were you so cruel? I was just trying to BE ALIVE...! so FUCK YOU i'll keep quiet next time, and I'll eat myself sliding around the bottom.
4.
so i knew there wasn't water in the lake but i jumped head first and speechless hoped i'd hit the bottom and stop but i kept moving hit down knocked i looked around but just found dirt between my rotted teeth falling was the easy part and stopping was hard ..i had sugar in the glass but you filled it with HOT WATER! all i really wanted was all i really wanted was all i really wanted... was you.
5.
You Smile 02:08
something isn't right, your fingers are a taught rope almost snapping at my face something makes me empty you tore off my hand like a leaf it just turned toward the light but you SMILE. but you LAUGH. BUT YOU STARE. (and you looked away) something makes my shiver, your eyes were laced with ice and controlled the air around me i tried to stop the pulse but it kept moving i tried to stop the air but it was everywhere and you looked away
6.
my voice was a harp! hoping to be plucked. in you walked, said "hello". your fingers cut my strings. tried to say, you were sorry but i knew you liked me better apart! apart a part.. that wasn't what i wanted from you, that wasn't what i hoped you'd do, but you did it anyways
7.
after the war i read that you had survived, you were alive! your skin cut like mine did we still couldn't talk, everything we touched together froze you breathed in air like i did we waited as the air cleared we waited as time reset... through it all we both survived but we never learned quite how to live
8.
we walked down the stairs, we took off our shoes, and slid into the ice... we walked up the stairs we found the nearest phone and we called out..we called out.... we saw what they did to you but we folded our hands... we called out..we called out
9.
10.
driving in fog, i didn't know where to turn i saw a dark white, and the engine halted.. i had nowhere to turn! i had nowhere to turn... you said it was a mistake swore it wasn't possible but it was and we knew it your lights didn't shine your lights didn't shine. driving in the fog i drove off the road into a fiery pan and the tires melted i didn't try to turn, i just looked you in the eyes. you said it was a mistake swore it wasn't possible but it was and they knocked on the windows your lights didn't shine your lights didn't shine. what we thought was fog was just smoke and what we thought was light was just the fire
11.
lets sit around, feast on each other our cells broken apart by our teeth we celebrate! we dance around! until you died. held your hands in mine, but they were lukewarm all night and the next, all night and the next we wait for you to wakeup.. we tried to bring you back! but it was too late... held your hands in mine, but they were lukewarm all night and the next
12.
In The Fire 03:09
work work until you die. work work until you die. work work until you die. you wanted to fill your hands to fill your stomach to fill your skin with something warm. and we all want to be warm! so we end up in the fire...we end up in the fire... crack crackle crack crack...do de do... it felt good once but now it just hurts it felt good once but now it just hurts it felt good once but now it just hurts it felt good once but now it just hurts
13.
driving in fog, i didn't know where to turn i saw a dark white, and the engine halted.. i had nowhere to turn! i had nowhere to turn... you said it was a mistake swore it wasn't possible but it was and we knew it your lights didn't shine your lights didn't shine. driving in the fog i drove off the road into a fiery pan and the tires melted i didn't try to turn, i just looked you in the eyes. you said it was a mistake swore it wasn't possible but it was and they knocked on the windows your lights didn't shine your lights didn't shine. what we thought was fog was just smoke and what we thought was light was just the fire
14.
cloud cloud, rain rain cloud cloud, rain rain on me sun sun, don't shine sun sun, don't shine on me moon moon, bring me your rays moon moon, bring me your rays.. goodnight.. please don't kill me in my sleep! I SAW HOW YOU LOOKED AT ME!!! (so please don't, just.. say goodnight)
15.
they touch your hands they touch your arms they touch your chest they touch your heart and they don't know you (their fingers leave scars underneath) so under your skin you ask for a way to forget and every year after they killed you..you tried to get close but you pulled away... ...you pulled away.
16.
here we left our hearts because they were too cold to carry around here we left thoughts because they were too heavy hold on our backs here we lost our bodies because they were too hard to control.. but were still here!! (just a little confused) here i said too much, said enough for you to know.. we didn't know the right way to go! (so we stopped)
17.
it was wrong i should have held back poured myself on another street but i wasn't in control of the cab that drove me away..you called and i picked up. words weren't enough you said "i caught your cold" i wished for more we kissed for the last time and can you hold me up (anymore)
